Carpet
A basement floor in cream carpet
A whole lower floor carpeted in one cream loop, hallway and room, with no seam showing where they meet.
What we did
A floor this size is really a seaming job. Carpet comes off the roll at a fixed width, so anything wider than that is more than one piece, and the whole result is judged on whether you can find the join. The pile has to run the same way in every piece or the two sides read as different colours under the same light, and the seam itself wants to fall where it gets the least traffic and the least daylight across it. Through the doorway the carpet runs on without a break or a bar.
Thinking about a job like this?
We come out, measure for free, and put the quote in writing before anything starts.
More of our work
Curved staircase in carpet
A curved staircase stripped back to bare treads and recarpeted around its full sweep, cut tight to the oak stringer on every winder.
Open riser stairs in carpet
Open riser basement stairs carpeted, with every tread wrapped around the front and the underside so there is no raw edge anywhere.
